Paris has to be the most beautiful city in the world.  What I find really remarkable about that is that it is not a museum city stuck in the past like so many other beautiful cities, it is a functional world capital living both in the past and present.  The Louvre is the most visited museum in the world and for good reason, the collection is amazing.  Most know it as the home of the Mona Lisa, however, it also contains four other DaVinci’s, masters from every European country, and collections from all of the major times and places in history.  Housed in a former fort turned palace, it is simply an amazing experience for any art lover.
