The 1984 Olympics highlighted a Yugoslavian city rich in history nestled in the Balkan Mountains.   This picturesque retreat was torn apart by war as Yugoslavia broke up and a terrible siege befell the city in the early 90’s.  The city and the country is carrying on today, and the evidence of its history, both good and bad are still there in the absolutely stunning setting.
