Milan is a major metropolitan city in Northern Italy. It is synonymous with fashion and culture.  On this trip it served as our base. These pictures were taken on our first jet-lagged day in the city, many more will follow.  I enjoyed how the city was able to blend the modern with the old in a workable way that had much charm.
