Symbols of rule past and present.  Sfroza Castle was the 15th century fortress of the Duke of Milan and today houses the majority of Milan’s museums.  It is an incredible structure that communicates power and stability.   When Benito Mussolini came to power, he made similar monuments to his power. One such is Milano Centrale railway terminal.  This structure, completed in the early 30’s in deco styling fused with classical elements was meant to project the power of the fascist regime.
