The things people will do for charity…  It is a Super Bowl Sunday tradition in Long Beach, NY for brave souls raising funds for the Make a Wish Foundation, take a brave plunge into the freezing ocean.  This is not an event for the faint of heart in temperatures in the high 20’s with gusts of wind making it feel in the teens.  Participants received a bit more of a jolt than an ice bucket could ever deliver and we get to enjoy the look on their faces as their bodies are shocked by the freezing water.
